Yes, there are designated disabled parking bays adjacent to the athletics track and right in front of the Lynnsport entrance.

Yes, you can see the athletics track and our container from the car park. Gaining access to the track from the car park is a short two-minute walk around an accessible path.

Service users should meet at the container on the track so we can select a suitable adapted bicycle for you.

The nearest restrooms and toilets are in the Lynnsport main building, which is adjacent to the track.

People are welcome to bring their own bikes. We also have a range of adapted bikes for service users to choose from.

Appropriate clothing should be worn, including closed-toe footwear. Attendees can bring their own helmets, but we always provide one if needed.

All bikes are serviced yearly. Prior to each weekly session, all bikes go through an M check for safety and proper function.

Both team leaders are qualified first aiders, as are all Lynnsport staff.

In extremely bad weather, we may have to cancel the session. However, we plan to run all year round.

We create a safe and inclusive bike club with a focus on fostering a welcoming atmosphere, establishing clear guidelines and actively promoting participation from all individuals.

The club is funded via charity grant applications.

The club is run by volunteers.

If you’re interested in supporting the club, there are a number of ways you can do this:

You can donate to Ride United online via our JustGiving page. If you’re eligible for Gift Aid, please add this to your donation as it allows us to claim an extra 20p in every £1.

We’re always looking for volunteers to help at our weekly sessions. You don’t need any experience as a full induction is given when you join the team. Contact us if you’re interested.
